October Employee Spotlight: Cassie

Our Employee Spotlight series shows off our wonderful staff and takes you along to learn more about the stories and backgrounds of our team members at Bliss Dermatology Group. This month, we’re excited to shine the spotlight on Cassie LeBeau.

Tell us about yourself! How did you get into dermatology? I started in dermatology as a Medical Assistant prior to PA school. Fell in love with the specialty & knew it was what I wanted to do. In addition to dermatology, I work PRN In Urgent Care a couple days a months to maintain a well-rounded knowledge base. I am an Physician Associate at both our Venice and Englewood locations.

Why are you passionate about dermatology? I love the variety of dermatology. I’m able to do a little bit of everything & am constantly learning, being challenged, & growing as a provider.

What motivates you to come in and do your best every day? I love our patients & hearing about their lives. I feel very honored to be a part of their healthcare team to maintain & improve their health status.

Which of our core values resonates the most with you? Resilience resonates with my on a daily basis because I believe that being successful in healthcare starts with being willing to adapt to changes, whether they be in the office or with patients. Things are always changing.

What advice do you have for someone consider a career in the dermatology field? It’s absolutely worth it!!!! Dermatology is a specialty that can be difficult to get into, but persistence & hard work does pay off, and it’s 10000% worth it in the end.

What’s your #1 skin care tip? Mineral-based sunscreen with a minimum of SPF 50 every day, tretinoin or retinol every night, and quarterly microneedling treatments are the foundational keys to long term healthy & beautiful skin.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work? Exploring the outdoors! Paddleboarding, kayaking, fishing, hiking, camping, & beach days with my son and two dogs.
