September Employee Spotlight: Judy

Our Employee Spotlight series shows off our wonderful staff and takes you along to learn more about the stories and backgrounds of our team members at Bliss Dermatology Group. This month, we’re excited to shine the spotlight on Judy Reyes.

 

Tell us about yourself! How did you get into dermatology? I started working in plastic surgery who also was Mohs surgeon and learning about Mohs and seeing the different techniques to close a large wound, what a normal person would think is impossible a Mohs surgeon makes it look like magic.

Why are you passionate about dermatology? Dermatology improves the quality of life for many patients who have debilitating skin disorders. I like the variety of treatments we do here at Bliss Skin cancers to Skin care.

What motivates you to come in and do your best every day? Working well as a team and seeing the progression of our work.

Which of our core values resonate the most with you? I would like to believe I possess all core values of Bliss as they are not only goals for work, they are also personal life goals. To be humble, kind, strive for excellence while being  resilient.

What advice do you have for someone considering a career in the dermatology field? Be prepared to learn a lot.

What’s your #1 skin care tip? Use sunscreen, repeat.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work? Spending time with my family, making jewelry and other crafts and upcycling furniture.
