January Employee Spotlight: Tracie

Our Employee Spotlight series shows off our wonderful staff and takes you along to learn more about the stories and backgrounds of our team members at Bliss Dermatology Group. This month, we’re excited to shine the spotlight on our Cosmetic/Wellness Coordinator Tracie Kuchen.

Tell us about yourself! How did you get into dermatology?

I’m a single mom to three kids, a 20 year old daughter who is a Junior at Western Carolina University in North Carolina, a 10 year old son and an eight year old daughter. They are my world. I moved back to Florida in April of 2024, and decided to change career paths. I started with Bliss Dermatology in June of last year as a Patient Services Representative and just recently got promoted to Cosmetic/Wellness Coordinator. I truly love my job and what I do. I look forward to my future with this company.

Why are you passionate about dermatology?

Skin is such an important organ that everyone needs to take care of it. Many people will watch what they put into their body, but you also need to take care of what you put on the outside as well.

What motivates you to come in and do your best every day?

Besides having kids to support, I really love my job. I learn something new every day and continue to grow. Plus, I get to work with some amazing ladies which is a bonus in my eyes.

Which of our core values resonates the most with you?

Be Resilient! I thrive on being challenged and given multiple tasks at a time. 

What advice do you have for someone considering a career in the dermatology field?

Do It! Come join the team. Dermatology is ever changing with skin conditions, cosmetics, wellness and so much more!

What is your #1 skin care tip?

I have a few. Wash your face, use sunscreen, and find the right products that work for you. If you need help, call us!

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

I enjoy fishing with my son, playing games, doing make-up with my youngest daughter, spending time with family and friends, going to the beach, cooking, and thrifting.
