Mohs surgery is a staged procedure. Between each layer of tissue removal, you will wait while your tissue is processed and examined in our onsite lab. Depending on the complexity of your case, this can mean multiple waiting periods throughout the day. Our Mohs surgery patients have access to a dedicated, private waiting area reserved exclusively for them. This is a separate, comfortable space away from the general flow of the practice, designed so that you can rest, decompress, and wait in peace without the activity of a busy waiting room.
We know that the time between stages can feel uncertain. Our dedicated Mohs waiting area gives you a calm, quiet space to spend your time with privacy, comfort, and the reassurance that our team is nearby and available whenever you need us. You are welcome to bring a book, a device, a snack, or a friend or family member to sit with you. We want you to feel settled and supported throughout the entire day.
